These goods are shipped as individual pieces—crates, pallets, machinery, steel sections, pipe segments, large industrial parts, etc.—that are handled directly rather than being packed into a full container. Container movement refers to transportation of containers including FCL/LCL, or when oversized or oddly shaped cargo must be moved via open-top, flat-rack, or other special container types.
